I've changed the render distance, fps settings etc. I have a pretty good laptop (it can run call of duty no problem) but when it comes to minecraft it lags pretty bad. Can someone help me?

in simple terms pass into your Minecraft video settings and alter right here: - pictures: quickly - Render Distance: Set to a bearable low point so which you cant see for miles yet your are not in a cloud of fog. - tender lighting fixtures: Off - Clouds: Off - debris: minimum additionally close down the different purposes that don't choose open as this might enable extra area for Minecraft on your RAM. desire this helps! :-)

We're the same, But i can run minecraft more faster with this simple technique. Open minecraft, Open your save file, press ESCAPE, click options, then turn off Bobbing, Change render distance to Tiny, Change the Fancy to Fast, Turn off music and sound, If it stills lagging, Open a new world name your world and go to more world options change Default to superflat Note: This world has no resources so you cannot play survival anymore, Just use the toomanyitems mod and you can switch your mode to creative or normal... Hope i helped you =)

try to change the render distance to tiny and power saving instead of max fps and put the particles to minimal and if that doesn't work you may have installed it wrong or you can try to re install

set power usage to "high peformance" or dedicate more RAM to it
