Whenever I log into minecraft it says 'cannot connect' and when I hit play offline it just gives me a black screen. I have been playing minecraft since early alpha and have never had problems like this before. My computer is just new and is running windows 7, it's a pretty good computer and has no problems running any other game. I have tried playing in browser but I just get this coming up on my screen 'Java Plug-in 10.7.2.11

and then the screen just turns black again. I have tried checking my anti virus to see if this is preventing it and I have updated my java but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?

Well, make sure that your router allows information to be shared to server hubs and back, this is commonly blocked by a firewall, so disable your firewall. Also, run a network diagnostic to see if there are any problems in your network. Plus if you have any mods installed that could effect the gameplay in any way, try uninstalling them. Judging from the error report, i say that you have a few files missing from your .minecraft folder. again, try a vanilla jar. Other than that, i have no ideas based of the information given, Hope this helps :D

If you want to download Minecraft you can download it here for free: http://bit.ly/1uSGHK1

Minecraft. It is an action-strategy game open world. The game is based on the construction in a three dimensional environment with ramdon cubes. It has three modes of play: creative, classic and survival.

For me, it's the best game ever.

never. Your brother is actual. in case you have been somebody who purely had some unfastened time and wanted to do some thing to spend the time, you may comprehend that it is in ordinary terms a interest that folk like. the only troublesome section which could be seen for pc geeks is once you're turning out to be a mod, via fact it demands lots of coding. different than that, its in ordinary terms a calming interest.

I had the same problem with my new laptop, just disable your firewall for the first few times you play it. Hope this helps.

A few quick options:

-Reboot.

-Re-install Minecraft.

-Update Java / Re-install.
