I need some options, I want to create a minecraft server for me and my friends to play on. one of my friends created one but he can't run it 24/7. My other friend is incapable of creating a server for some reason or another -.- And I decided to create one. I got to port-forwarding then i got stuck because I needed the password and username for my router, I know usually the password is password and the username is admin. But it's not, I think my dad has changed it. I've tried asking him but he won't let me have the credentials. Is there any way I can get free server hosting for only 2-3 slots? I don't need it to be UBER powerful. Thanks

VeryGames Server Hosting

Starting from $5.90 for a month, 4 slots, unlimited ram/mapsize, world uploading, infinite worlds, etc

and 5gb space (SSD), with extra space available for $1 extra per GB

It's in pounds, but it's available in the US too i believe.

There is also MineOS, which requires you to install a Linux distro on a spare pc, which allows for nearly all of the RAM/etc to be available to the server. It's better than self hosting on the pc you use to play, and it's free.

I'll leave links in the source.

Hope this helped

Look at BeastNode, they're really good. You can get cheap servers along with a free subdomain for a web site, and a mumble VOIP server to go with it. Check the link in the sources if you need more information.

try admin for the password aswell, also a lot of dedicated servers charge around 7 dollars a month at least but good luck

It is indeed good. but not as good as other server hosters, i cant think of them off the top of my head, but frag is indeed high up there. but not the best :)
