How can I zoom out on my mac?

I zoomed in using control + mouse scroll up, but it's a really old mouse and it can't go backwards. I need to figure out a way to zoom out without using the mouse, because this is really annoying and I won't be able to use the computer like this. And I've already tried turning the computer off and on, restarting, and logging off and on.

Try Command + Option + Minus. If this does not work, you might have to go into accessibility options and turn on zoom. Hope this helps.

You did not mention what app you are using for this zoom. Remember, even though you are "on my mac", you are also "on my _______ app". The way to change zoom setting varies a bit from Safari to Firefox, and I have no comment on Chrome or Opera. You can submit a new question about Chrome or Opera if it is about one of them, and a Chrome expert will answer. My answer is for Safari and Firefox.

Do you see the "View" menu at the top? That has stuff related to viewing. Under it, do you see "Zoom"?

In the future, either spring for a $15 mouse, or don't use special mouse commands that can't be reversed. I once had a 1959 Chrysler with push-button transmission, but the R button was busted -- a bit more annoying that your mouse.

Haha, this happened to me too, and I managed to get the scroll wheel to work after a while, but dude. That sucks. I'm a serious mac guy and idk what to do there.
