Question:
Is it possible to change the duration of 1 mouse click?
2010-02-12 05:25:10 UTC
Is there a program or Windows setting that lets me do this?

eg. A normal mouse click lasts, say, 0.2 seconds
Is it possible to adjust this so that 1 mouse click is the same as holding it down for 2 seconds?

Also, is there a program were this is only activated when a keyboard button (like F1, F2) is pressed?

Thanks!

PinnacleGameProfiler allows me to do this sort of thing with video game controllers, but I don't know if it supports mice. I just posted your question over there, and the administrator usually answers questions within a few hours of posting, so follow the link below and see what he has to say.

If he is able to do this for you, you can purchase PGP on the main site here:

Note I suggested he add this feature if it doesn't already exist, and the creator is excellent about releasing new versions within a few days of a feature request, so this software may be designed around your request. I have suggested many features in the past and have not been let down yet.

~ UPDATE ~

PGP DOES allow you to control the mouse using the "Hotkeys" functionality. See the thread I have linked for simple instructions. Vote for this answer, please.

The duration of a mouse click is as long as you hold the button down.

The mouse driver will not measure time, just whether the mouse button is currently [on] or [off].

So - I don't think there will be any software like this.
