NO! before you ask, I AM NOT GOING TO HACK ANYTHING!! OR DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL!!

I can trace IP addresses to where the PC/person lives. But i want to be able to get there IP. How can i do that?

Like if i'm talking to someone online using AIM, how can i get there IP?

Just kind of curious. I know that you can run Command Prompt and type in "netstat -n, -o, -a" the list goes on with letters there. but is there some easyer/other way i can get someones IP?

and no, i don't wan't to make links and catch there IP when they click on it.

Depending on your email provider, the ISP address at the "Fully Opened Header Address" of the person's email. This is easily available by looking for the "Options - Settings" tab above the message.

Left click on that. Look within that window for the Item Named "Display". This item provides you with the "Webmail Display Options" of "Basic, Full and None" to have the full presentation of the complete routing as well as the originators ISP address - if you left Click on the Bullet besides the Full.

Here is an editted sample of what you will see in the "Full Header" version:

2. There is also an Application that you may purchase which continuously monitors every port on your PC for any activity and it reports on many items of PCs or servers connected or attempting to connect:

It is called : "Essential NetTools".

It, and a description can be found at:

I really like this App.

You can get it out of an E-Mail. It is in the header and either the first or last line (I forget which). You can view the header in any E-Mail program; there is an option in the view (or some other) drop down menu up top. This only works if they send it through an E-Mail client on their computer. If the send it from gmail or some other service through a website, the site sends it so you would get the site's IP.

First, you won't be able to get man or woman's IP handle from his youtube account information as far as i know. second, you could seem up someone's IP and discover out the position he lives, yet not precisely, you could know the rustic, city, perhaps the district. different counsel is deepest and his ISP will not likely supply it away.

Well, if asking them is an option, have them open a command prompt and have them type "ipconfig" into it. One of the IPs that comes up will be theirs. Unfortunately, it could be their local one, not their internet one.

A better way is to ask them to go to a site that will show them such as whatismyipaddress.com - quick and easy and you know it's the right one.

rofl@this... No ****, we all know you don't know anything about hacking since you're asking a funny question.

For aim, the direct connect and put that cmd in doesn't work anymore. I use Pidgin to get someones IP threw aim/instant messenger.
