I never had a computer in my family before. I just got a desktop. I know how to google and use disk frag and put pictures on the computer from a camera. but nothing else.I would liek to learn I guess remote desktop, i guess you can fix another persons computer that way with out leaving your own computer? I got a book on A+ but don't understand the abbreviations, difference between windows 7, the start menu and windows configuration, they all look like windows 7 to me so why broken up like that. Is there any tutorial videos on these because the reading is difficult to understand and on youtube, there like 2 minute window 7 videos, like the tool bar. I would like to know how and understand all the folders in the start menu like when you click on start go to all programs and there's folders like accessories etc in the start menu. is that windows configuration or directories? there's no tutorial videos on these and what they do and they have weird names like auepo or nero etc

Windows 7 is an Operating System or OS. An OS is central to managing/coordinating and organising your computer and everything it does. Windows 7 is whole system of parts somewhat like departments in a department store; or a large corporation; hence the name Operating SYSTEM.

The START menu is basically a list of shortcuts to most of the programs (games, internet browser etc), directories (folders) and hardware (dvd drives, printer etc) that make up your computer. The start menu is rather like a table of contents listing and pointing you to where everything is. Folders are Directories- "spaces" where stuff goes; this is how Windows organises everything on your computer so that everything is orderly and coherent, has a "home of fixed address" so to speak making things easier to find. Websites like HowStuffWorks are quite good at explaining the basics. Here is a link that may be useful to you- http://www.howstuffworks.com/operating-system.htm

May I suggest you learn to swim first before you go jumping in the deep end ;-D

pass to the post place of work. look on the post place of work packing containers. they're arranged in rows for the time of and column that are going up and down. Now enable's variety each row beginning with a million on the suited and happening we are able to declare to ten. Now each column would be variety beginning on the left with a million on going to the tip, for simplicities sake at 10. Now we are able to assign a recognition to the variable - x will signify the rows, Y will signify the columns, Now if I we are finding at x = a million and y =a million ....this is the 1st actual field interior the suited row, x =10, y =10 ----is the final field interior the backside row. Now you probably did no longer say a language so i do no longer understand what you decide on for for this reason enable's look at some fake code. to populate those packing containers with the numbers a million to one hundred. we are able to apply nested loops do together as x is a million to ten increment by employing a million --- this could shop administration which row we are in, it is going to initiate at a million and increment every time interior the loop together as the row is 10 or much less do together as y is a million to ten increment by employing a million -- comparable ingredient for y variety = variety + a million -- it is the variety to shop in factor of array array(x,y) = variety -- pass variety to the array end ---- end of inner loop - it retains doing loop until y = 10 y= a million --- reset y to a million end - increments x loop ---- it is not that confusing. Sorry in case you do no longer comprehend...yet I even have concept arrays in older languages - especially fortran, cobol, straight forward, PL/a million, and so on. that's why i'm now unemployed.

Stay away from A+ for now, it's a certification for professionals who work on PCs for a living.

You'll probably want to start out with one of the "For Dummies" books. Please don't be offended, they're actually pretty good books for beginners.

Check this one out (copy and paste this link into your browser):

If you don't want to go though buying it online yet, I'm sure they'll have something like this at your local Barnes & Nobel.
