hi, this has to be the easiest solution, which is 100% free.

It's called Audacity, what it does it is records audio from video and then allows you to save it as a .wav or .mp3 file. nice and easy.

also you know sometimes you hear songs online but you cant download them.. well this lovely tool will record all audio that you play from the web and will allow you to save it to your pc. it basically takes the audio output that comes out through your speakers and saves it. so what you hear is what you get... :)

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ is the site. if you search for audacity in google you'll find out how to record audio from the net..

DVD Audio Extractor 4.3.0

http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/

I converted some PSB concert DVDs with it and listened to them as MP3s going up to Newcastle! This program also ripped a couple of DVD audio streams from some DVD singles that were copy protected and stopped my previous program from working...

Ah, but Yah.Oma...

Download a 30 day trial version and try out for free.

The trial version is fully functional within the trial period, so that you can experiment with all the features without any restriction.

Much, much easier and you can choose which audio stream.

Ie standard VHS track or enhanced digital one etc...

I also have Easy CD-DA Extractor [Professional] for music making from CDs, by a different company, but this does audio CDs. It can also convert files from one to another:

I'm not 100% positive about this but if i were you i would try to download a file converter such as 'switch' and then see if you can change your files to a mp3 or wma file.

hope it works!
