If it's a company with global locations:
1. Will it block emails w/foreign domains?
2. Will it block emails w/U.S. common domains (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) coming from overseas?
3. Do companies utilize spam folders? (The 2 companies I've ever worked at are both international and I always got all emails. My email app, Lotus Notes, didn't have a SPAM folder)

A lot of companies will run some form of company wide spam and virus filter product for incoming email.

The company may also implement other policies as well - it depends on the IT team.

They could block email from foreign domains - but most don't. After all, how are the sales and support people supposed to talk to their overseas customers if email kept getting blocked?

They could block email from Yahoo, GMail, etc., but probably don't. If they were concerned about private email, they would more likely block web access to those sites to prevent their employees from accessing them.

Many of these products do allow for user level spam folders, but many of them do not integrate with your email client. Instead, you would have to use your web browser to log into the spam filtering machine, and access your folder there. If you aren't getting notifications that you have spam in a folder that needs to be looked at, either you aren't getting any spam, or your company isn't using this feature.

It depends. I guess every company has a different policy in place. I don't think it blocks e-mails depending on where they are sent from, or it could have problems with lots of customers.
