The left and middle button on my mouse are messed up.?

Question

Everytime i left click with my mouse, the middle button starts to work, this is really annoying.

Say for example, i wanna go to a link, i left click and my page turns into that link, and i open a new tab because if you press the middle button on a link, it opens in a new tab.

Say for example, i want to go to one of my various tabs, I left click, and it CLOSES!! because if you click on a tab, with the middle button, it will close that tab.

This is really annoying. Is there a way to disable the middle button?

BTW - middle button = scroll wheel

Get a new mouse ! They are not that expensive and you should be able to find a cheap one for under $10

If you can, seems how you will proably get a new one anyways, try opening up your mouse and seeing if there is something that is between the buttons.



Before you do that, just try blowing out between the butons.

juist reprogram the mouse looks like the keys are reversed

set for left handed user of the mouse

Get a new mouse, or try unplugging and plugging it back up.

there might be something stuck in your mouse that is making it do that.
