Well, I bought a dvd recently and it's new one. but when I try to open a file "setup.exe" it's said the file was broken. not just that file, but the whole files in that disc are unable to open. so is there any way to repair those files or to recover it back?

Unfortunately if the disc data is not found or corrupted there is no way to recover because technically file data is missing or was when the DVD was burned the burning software, burned it improperly, so therefore the data is incompletely written.

Try getting a refund or exchange for a working DVD

I don't know any software that repairs files for disc. since it is just bought, you can ask the after-sale service to change a new one

you can take a try with a data recovery tool.

And I'd love to recommend you Hodo Data Recovery software.

It has ever helped me for data recovery successfully, it combines 4 different methods for data recovery.

Wish you good luck and hope it helps for you.
