Programs need to be uninstalled and then reinstalled. Since many of the settings and file locations are contained in the registry

Or other option is to readjust the main partition. There is a built in utility in windows 7 and up for this

Be sure that you have a NTFS file system on drive D and you should be able to copy the program files over to the new drive and delete the old ones. However, I am interested in seeing others responses because my method may cause problems due to the program being previously installed and may go looking for the program folders in the old pathway. If thats the case, simply uninstall the program and reinstall on the new drive.

the best way to do this is uninstall the program from drive c, then use the installation files to install the program on drive d, during installation look for the section where it talks about the path, then change the drive letter and you're all set.

"my fujitsu laptop is partitioned into two 150gb drives."

http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

Down load and Install "EaseUS Partition Master Free"

Run.

Click "D" drive and drag smaller.

Click "C" drive and drag to expand in to the unallocated space.

Click Apply.
