Windows Media Player Not Playing DVD?

i'm trying to watch a dvd on my computer and this message keeps popping up "Windows Media Player is currently unable to play DVD video. Try decreasing the number of colors displayed on your monitor or decreasing the screen resolution. For additional solutions, click More Information to access the DVD Troubleshooter. " i tried decreasing the number of colors and the resolution and it keeps saying that. what should i do?

try getting the Windows XP Codec Pack. www.winxp76.webs.com restart PC. If you continue getting that issue.. Adjust setting in Media Player- Most often its the CODECS though..



If for some reason this still happens.. It shoudlnt- But you'll need to download another DVD Player. VLC is great http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html It uses little resources,, I reccomend it alot!!

The homestead windows Media participant prefer a third occasion decorder to play a DVD video. like PowerDVD, WinDVD, Codec p.c... First 2 are chargable. So, get carry of and deploy ok-Lite Mega Codec p.c.. Then all format video and Audio would be performed in homestead windows Media participant.
