I was running vista, then i discovered torrents and downloaded a load of stuff that messed up my system, including windows 7 , which worked for a while up until now, i followed a bunch of tutorials on how to set it up and did stuff to my harddrives that may have caused partitioning (I think) it was a few automatic programs that let me reeboot my computer with windows 7 without doing it the tecnical way myself, virtual clone drive and i thing a program called easus partition something.. well after many months of porn use and torrent program downloads my computer has got to the stage were it needs a fresh start, i used that acer e recovery and tryed to restore to factory settings (cause the normal system restore only dates back to christmas) after i tryed it three time it just restarts and i am met with the same computer, same log in page no change or messages, heres what it says before i click ok....
System restore will overwrite excisting data on hard drive.
hard disk name: Hitachi HTS543225L9A300
Partition label: Acer (C:)
Partition size: 111.4 GB
click OK........

then it restarts and nothing happens, the partition size looks small, I wonder is it only being directed to a small part of the drive after all the damage i done to the system?

im crap at computers, just a chancer so if you dudes need anymore information ill add it in the addition information.. hope you's can help out and thanks to all who trys

acer aspire 6935g, new computer, 32 bit intel centrino inside,

As long as you haven't damaged the recovery partition...

1. Power on the machine.

2. At the white ACER BIOS screen, hold the “Alt” key and press the “F10” key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery.

3. Once eRecovery has loaded, click “Restore to Factory Default Settings”

4. Click “OK” to continue.

5. From here, the eRecovery process will update all the data on the C: drive and restore a fully functional factory image (approximately 10 minutes).

6. Once eRecovery has run, press “OK” to reboot unit.

***This will erase all your unsaved data!***

Or

1. Reboot, and press F8.

2. Select Repair.

3. Select Reinstall Windows and follow prompts.

***This will erase all your unsaved data!***

I think due to improper processor you were facing the problem. For the factory settings you should follow some steps, just go through the link and then you can restore your system -
