The music from iTunes is protected by DRM? You should remove DRM from protected music to mp3 or wav format,or record the music.

If you want to remove the DRM from the CD, you could try Wondershare Media Converter (http://snipurl.com/73txo).

Or you could use DemoCreator (http://snipurl.com/73tvp) to record the music to seperate wav file and then insert the music to PowerPoint.

Steps to insert music to PowerPoint:

1. Display the slide to which you want to add music or sound effects.

2. Click Insert -> Movies and Sounds -> Sound from File, locate the folder that contains the sound file that you want, and then double-click the sound file.

3. In the succeeding dialog box which says "How do you want the sound to start in the slide show", do one of the following:

Click "Automatically" if you want to play the sound automatically when you go to the slide.

Click "When Clicked" if you want to play the sound when you click the sound icon.

Hope these can really help you.

Best wishes.

I'm not sure how computer savvay you are, but I'll try to explain as best I can.

Most iTunes are in a file format that probably can't be inserted into a PowerPoint, so you will have to convert your iTunes m4p file into an mp3 file. To do this you need a program that will convert m4ps to mp3s. There are some free utilities online, but I purchased mine. Then you need to know exactly where your iTunes files are so when you run the convert program you can tell it where to find the m4p file to convert.

Save your converted mp3 file to a folder you will remember.

Go into your PowerPoint and go to INSERT, MOVIES/SOUNDS, from FILE and select the newly converted MP3.

Good luck.

First I think you the music file needs to be a wav, mp3, or wma to work in PowerPoint. I know that itunes files don't work. You can convert your file here: http://mediaconverter.org

Next go to Insert tab and under "Media Clips" click on insert sound. Then browse for the sound file and click on insert. It might ask you if you want it to start automatically or when clicked. Pick one and the sound is on the slide.
