Question:
Is "wake on PME" in BIOS settings the same as "wake on LAN"?

I'm having trouble with my computer where my router seems to switch on my computer if the ethernet cable is connected. I've been told to check for a "Wake on LAN" option in BIOS, but it doesn't appear. Is "Wake on PME" the same thing?

Thanks.

Wake on LAN setting refers to wake up events received through the 3-pin header cable. Wake on PME refers to wake up events received through the PCI bus.

Actually, that's not all babies. My babies both slept all night from the time they were born. Some people just got lucky that way. So, when I use the expression "sleeps like a baby", that means I slept all night long & peacefully. Thanks for the question.

I guess it depends on the load. If it's thin and water, why not swallow? On the other hand, if it's thick and chunky, some chewing might be involved first before you can send that love dumpling down the hamburger highway.
