How do i get DirectX 10?

how do i download it? or get it. I went to the DirectX 10 site and hit download latest version and it wants me to download version 9.3 or something.

To be able to use DirectX 10, you will need a fairly recent video card, as well as either Vista or Windows 7.



The video cards which support directX 10 are the 8000 series, and the new 200 series from Nvidia; and the 2000, 3000 and 4000 series from ATI.

but if you have windows XP there is an "unofficial" patch you can download to run directX 10 games.
