Why does Mediafire not let me upload my file?

Question

I have a 4.6MB zip file I want to upload.
It will let me upload each of the 3 files inside the zip, but not the zip itself. It says "Failure; Error# -50".
I've tried many, many times. Other files work. Other zips work. Uploading the files inside the zip works. It just doesn't let me upload this one zip, and it's annoying, as it means I have the break the format I've been using for everything else.

I am not very sure, but just extract the .zip file and make it a archieve in .rar file.



BTW, Mediafire does not allow password protected .zip or .rar files

I had the same problem (with an mp3), so I tried with the 'basic uploader' and it worked. To do this, go to 'My Account' --> 'Upload Options' then click on 'Disable Flash Uploads'. Then try it again, good luck.
