!!Help! I can't play NFS most wanted!! D3DX9_26.DLL?

Question

Finally installed my best game called Need For Speed Most Wanted on my windows 7 home premium laptop!Yay

BUT!

When i open the game it says:

'The program can't start because D3DX9_26.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this program.'

I hate this: D3DX9_26.DLL it's the problem!

i have already tried going to this site below and downloading it and putting it in a specific location:

It sadly did NOT work!

How do i fix this please tell me i need ALL the solutions possible!!!!

Restart the computer. Also, if that doesn't fix it. Un-Install Direct X and install it again by going to



http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-US/aboutGFW/pages/directx.aspx



That should fix the problem.

that's b'coz.. (may be) u copy-pasted the game.. Instead of Installing it.



Neways..,

just go to the directx folder in the NFS most wanted directory.

then look for a file named directx (it may be directx_redist.exe/directx_redist.msi/directx9c.exe etc..)



double click and install the package.
