I have a large collection of websites on my "favorites" list on my work computer.

How can I copy them over to my personal email account with Yahoo?

Or how can I copy them to a document that I can then print out?

It is easy to do that.

1. With your work computer, open Internet Explorer. Go to File and then Import and Export. The Import/Export Wizard will pop up.

2. Click Next on the first screen. We need to export your favorites so select Export Favorites and then Next. You will then be asked where you want to export files from. Favorites is already selected so hit Next again.

3. Now you have to choose the destination to export your favorites to. Choose Browse. The Select Bookmark File window will pop up. From the scroll down menu in Save In, choose your desktop or wherever you want to then Save. You'll revert back to the Import/Export wizard where the address for your saved location will appear as the address to export your favorites to. Select Next, Finish, and OK

Now Email this saved file to your home computer. Save the file to your home computer from the email.

From your home computer:

1. open Internet Explorer. Go to File and then Import and Export. Once again the wizard will pop up.

2. Click Next on the first screen. On the second screen, make sure Import Favorites is selected and hit Next.

3. You have to give the source that you want the file imported from. Select Browse, your saved location on the Home computer drive, and the file that you saved your favorites as. Hit Save. Make sure the file address is right in the wizard and then select Next.

4. Favorites is already selected as the place that you want your file imported to. Select Next, Finish and Okay

Your favorites are now available on your new computer. If you need to transfer your cookies as well, you do the same thing only you replace Export or Import Favorites with Export or Import Cookies.

If you use Internet Explorer, follow theses steps:

1. Click START.

2. Select MY COMPUTER

3. Select and Double-Click C: to open(or the main drive)

4. Select and Double-Click "Documents and Settings" to open

5. Select and Double-Click your 'user' folder. Usually companies will make this your name.

6. There should be a folder with a star named "Favorites" this folder contains all your bookmarks.

example path:

C:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Favorites

You can zip up this folder and send it to your home. You will then unzip all the contents to you "favorites" folder at home.

You can also use an free online bookmarking service. You can quickly store the bookmarks to the page online so that you can access your bookmarks from ANY computer. You can also organize them into different groups. I personally use www.sitejot.com, but many people use http://del.icio.us/

You can use outlook to save your e-mails however yahoo wont forward to outlook unless you pay for the service but it will forward to g-mail and g-mail will forward o outlook for free, so set outlook on your pc, then set up your forward on yahoo to your g-mail account (if you don't have a g-mail account im me and I'll send you an invite) and set up your g-mail to your outlook...I know it sounds like a lot of hassle but it's worth it in the end because outlook has an 'archive' feature that allows you to save all of your e-mails and you'll also be given the option of forwarding all mail from now on or forwarding everything in your e-mail account. Although it sounds like a lot to do it really is about the fastest way to get al your e-mails onto your pc to save em...either that or individually forward each e-mail to a different account...hope this helps

if you use IE than go to

my computer>c: drive> documents and setting > your user name > than there should be a folder or a star that says favorites. this is the file you need to copy your favorites. just use this file to print or copy it and take it to another computer and copy over the other fav folder.
