i am trying to configure my email account in MS OUTLOOK and the following errors appear:

no response from server
server does not accept my username and password

i introduced the following incoming and outcoming servers

Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)

can this be because yahoo allows this when you ony use their MAIL PLUS for which you have to pay.
help me pls

possibly, yes

your isp should give you the information you need to set up smtp and pop although you won't be able to collect your pop email from your yahoo account via their server unless yahoo mail will forward your mail to your isp mail account.

The SMTP server doesn't matter so much, as it's for outgoing mail and it will almost certainly allow you to send email from your yahoo address.

Hi the settings look right, the ports and DNS names appear ok for that host, but the servers cannot authenticate you using the username and password you provided in the outlook setup, so you will need to contact Yahoo and confirm the right username and password, or get a reset on the password. The servers will then be able to authenticate you and send/receive your emails.

I would check your username and password again i think for yahoo your username has to be your full email address ie whatever@yahoo.co.uk

You can check you have the right settings by logging into your yahoo account click options top left and then pop accessing and forwarding then finally Web & POP Access [POP Settings]

there are like hotmail i think they will let you have pop3 access without paying

contact your internet provider and ask them for help in setting it up. they have the correct addresses you need to use.
