Need help with my cousin's computer. Everything is large on the monitor and I've tried zooming out but that only works on a webpage and not everything else on the monitor.

Tried the settings too but can't seem to find anything to restore the size. And a message pops up that says 0 disk space or something so I can't take a screen photo and include one in this. Can anyone help?

If you're more technically inclined, you can add another hard drive for plenty of space, and move a lot of data from the C drive to the new one. If something simpler is what you'd like, you can just get an external hard drive, connecting with a USB port. The easiest free thing would be to delete old files and do general file maintenance to clear up space. After that, if you're on a Windows system, right click the desktop and go to "Screen Resolution", then next to the resolution tab, slide all the way up (or whatever it says the optimal resolution for his monitor is). This menu can also be accessed from Control Panel, good luck.

It sounds like the resolution is messed up. In windows vista/7:

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.

Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply. You should set it to something higher then what you have.

Click Keep to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.

In windows XP: Right click the desktop, click properties, click on the settings tab and drag the slider to something higher than what you have. Click okay when done.

Good luck

If you can try deleting a few unnecessary files. Then go to Control Panel and then Display. From there go to settings and then change his resolution to a larger number. After that run disk cleanup (you can search it in the start menu) and back up your files to an external hard drive. Then you can delete large files (like videos an applications that you don't use). Usually this can clear up enough space. Hope this helped!

Install the video card drivers from the website of the computer manufacturer, and change the resolution to a larger one.

Restart your computer and double the the video card drivers. Or perhaps, you could reinstall it. It actually works for me few years before. I also had the same problem.
