Why can't I copy and paste images?
Nah

Lately I've been having a problem with copying and pasting. Normally, I don't have any trouble placing text or images on my clipboard but suddenly, whenever I copy a picture and try to paste it into Photoshop, it doesn't paste the image I currently placed on the clipboard; instead it pastes an old image. No matter what I do to try and copy any image from there on out, the only image that I can paste is the old one! Things return to normal when I restart my computer, but that's a pain.
Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to stop it?
(Also, please don't suggest I don't know how to copy and paste... Pretty sure that's not the problem.)

Thanks!

First, copy an image into memory, from another application. as you are probably already doing.

Switch over to Photoshop.

First select a NEW image. The image size that comes up as default should be the exact image size of the image you just copied into memory.

THEN copy and paste your memory image into your new image.

That should work.

you could not decrease and paste right into a communicate board. you're able to characteristic the photograph someplace on the internet. then you tell the communicate board the place to pass seek for it. maximum boards have icons you could click that say photograph and a container pops up and asks you the place the image is placed. If it would not, then you only placed the hyperlink on your photograph in photograph code like this

You should be able to solve your problem by going on Edit menu and clicking on Purge > Clipboard or Purge > All.
