Okay so for the past three days or so, there has been a red circle with a white X in it on the taskbar beside the other shortcut icons. Everytime I'm on a webpage or a site, a pop-up box would come up and say:

"a script on this page has been stopped due to low memory conditions."

What do these things mean? Low memory conditions? What is that and what can I do to fix it? I really need some help here as to how to fix my computer if there's anything wrong with it, so please help.

This is for PC:

Go to System Properties

Advanced Tab

Settings for Virtual Memory

Put the Virtual Memory on any level you want, I recommend at least 2 GB and 2.3 GB max.

You may have to restart your computer.

Other reasons:

You need to upgrade your web browser, Service Pack, Flash Player or Java Script and Cookies need to be enabled for some.

Mac:

Sorry I'm kind of rusty on the Mac.

Delete some old things you dont need like music or word documents etc. and download ccleaner. ccleaner clears all the things completely from recycle bin and deletes internet history to create some memory. and see if your computer has extra slots to add more memory.

Use this tool to free scan your computer:

The package is running pretty well on my PC. It will optimize RAM and boost your system performance up to 300% by cleaning the content of your RAM and let you know the CPU information, memory usage and applications running on your computer.
