windows time error?

i keep geting and error that an error while windows was trying to synchronize the time and what should i do?

Hi there.



You've or the computer somehow may have set the computer to update it's time with the time on the internet time servers.

You can either change the time servers or just disable the time updates.



1) Double click on your clock on the task bar (bottom right)

2) Under "Internet Time" tab, to disable the time check, just uncheck the box next to "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" and click OK

3) Choose a new Server name in the drop down list box next to Server:

Double-click the time in your system tray and select the Internet Time tab, choose a different server to synch with. Repeat as needed or until choices are exausted, in which case just disable it to keep it from bugging you and try later. ;)

call windows and ask what its doing why its doing it and, most importatnly, how to fix it



(or go to tech support [just google the name of your comp+tech support or something along those lines] and they should be able to tell you why)
