Hey everyone!
I have a big booklet due tmrw for my technology course (in high scool) and i am finished it besides a couple of my questions. So my first one is, instead of a kepyboard and mouse being plugged in a PS/2 port, what other devices can be attached? Also, instead of a monitor being plugged in a monitor port, is there any other devices that can be plugged in? Thankss sooo much!! Ill give 10 points to whoever answers properly first! :D

hi,,

the PS/2 is for the keyboard and mouse only I never heard of a device that uses this ports.

the second question, also nothing can be plugged in the monitor port unless kvm switches which is used for multi-PCs which are connected to one monitor.

check below website

hope this would help you.

You can draw power from the PS/2 port. This is sometimes used on external hard drives, built on the small laptop 2.5 inch drives. In these cases you will connect the external drive to both a USB port (for data transfer and power) and to a PS/2 port for additional power, as there is not enough power on the USB port.

As for monitor ports, I would say no. Bear in mind that there are quite a few different "monitor ports" so you might have to be a little more specific and elaborate on this in your paper.

Don't think anything can be plugged into a PS/2 port, but a keyboard or mouse.

As far as the monitor plug (DVI/VGA) goes, you could also attach a projector.
