Im trying to upload my CV and I'm having some trouble. According to the website, I can only upload files that are pdf, doc, or docx.

I wrote my resume using Microsoft OpenOffice.org Writer, and my computer saved it as an odt file.

This is so important!! Thanks if you can help me!!

open it, click "save as" and before you save it, look at the bottom, there's a drop down menu called "file type" and pdf, doc or docx should be there!

Open the Odt file in Open Office on your computer. Click "File" and "Save As" and select Doc as the file type and save it. This will convert your Odt to Doc in Open Office.

OR

You can convert it online for Free.

Go to this site : http://www.convertfiles.com/

Click Browse button and upload your file.

Select the INPUT FORMAT

Set the OUTPUT FORMAT

You can save your document as pdf from your open office. Just open the document, choose "File" (at the top), then choose "Export as PDF". Leave the document setting or change it as you need. Then hit "Export", name your file, and you're done, :)

.pdf

1. It's the most portable (anybody will be able to read it, even if they don't have Microsoft Office)

2. It doesn't reveal how you laid it out (if you used spaces instead of tabs, etc). Some people are nitpicky about that kind of stuff.

Click File->save as.. and you should be able to pick one of those types
