I have a PC operating on a Client-Server Network. For this PC I have a USB NIC. (Network Interface Card) I do not want to Boot from the NIC. I want to be able to login to the network over the WL with out having to access a cached acct or have a wire connection. The WL Network is using a RADIUS server for authentication.

NIC's of this type are hardwired to take control of the boot process. You would need to talk to your network administrator for a change, although most times these NIC's are used because the admin wants to keep control.

perhaps you should rephrase your question. Device Boot Order is a BIOS setting, not a WinXP setting.
