Taking a screenshot of a webpage.?

Hey there, folks, here's the situation:
I graduated from University a few months ago, and on our graduation day, the local paper published all of our names and degree subjects, on and off line. I just wanted to get a screen shot of their web page with all our names on it (including mine lol) before they put up this year's class and ours is lost! The problem is that while I know how to do this for the part of a web page that is actually shown on your monitor (it's the 'trick' of using the Print Screen button--quite neat!), I don't know how to do this for the whole of the page (you need to scroll down to see everybody :-)). I think a similar result (of keeping a copy of the published results) could be achieved by just making a printout of the page, but a screen shot would be cool cos i could email it around as well!

I have IE 7, so I hope this is accurate... You can try going to the page button (or file, save webpage I believe for other IE's), then saving the webpage, and the contents in it. Sometimes, if a page has an upload of a photo, it will download when you save the entire webpage.. or, try readjusting your screen resolution settings to a larger size so that more of the page shows when you go to look at that website.. turn off all your tool bars, and see if the picture shows without having to scroll, and then you can do the print screen etc.

I think you just wana go File>Save page as to save the web page as a document. I just tried it with this page while disconnected from the internet and it seemed to work. The address in the address bar changed from the yahoo one to a C:\My Documents..... where I saved the page. I tried this in both FireFox and IE and it worked the same. Hope this helps.

How about making a small movie of you slowing scrolling down that page. There is a free software called CamStudio that will capture all activity on your screen.

If you have IE7 then just get the page up that you want and then use the "Page Button" on top right side of toolbar and select "Save as" Or "Email to" option.



No IE7 then go to File>Save as and save it .

down load a free program called Printkey, otherwise Control and print screen, then paste in the destination program, Word, powerpoint or whatever

I'm not sure how to take a picture on the computer but maybe, take picture on your phone, send the picture to ur yahoo account, then ta da! that's what i did for a wallpaper on my phone. :) good Luck

hmmm well you could get some names paste them into like paint or word and scroll down and repeat :) if you don`t get it then just ask :D
