I managed to find a file i need by doing a search in my computer, however this file has been deleted and i need to be able to recover it. The problem is that ive tried several recovery systems and none of them seem to be able to find the deleted file. Ive tried undelete, recuver etc. Its very frustrating as i can literally see the previous existence of the file i need but i cant get to it. Am i missing something really obvious? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you need rely on professional file recovery tool to get them back. A popular one is Asoftech Data Recovery. This tool can deep scan your the computer and recover your lost files back without requiring extra skills. Here is the steps might be helpful to you:

1. Download this program on your compute. here is the link: http://www.asoftech.com/aDr/

2. Install and start the program.

3. select the drive where your lost files located, click Next. Now the scanning process will start to search the deleted files. After a while you will then get a list of recoverable files.

4. Press Recover to perform full recovery.

Is it possible your search is showing a shortcut to a file rather than the file itself? A shortcut would still be visible after you've deleted the file it was referencing. If it is a shortcut, perhaps it was pointing to an external drive or device?

Undelete, reccuva and similar software are usually pretty good at recovering deleted data (unless it was deleted a long time ago and has been since overwritten)...especially if you can see a trace of the file.

definite, with application, you could recuperate deleted information that no longer look interior the recycle bin. They use algorithms to both hit upon a particular personality marker which shows to the record gadget that a record is deleted, or they search for the demanding stress's loose area for particular record signatures. How lengthy does it flow again? That relies upon on how a lot loose area you've and what percentage different information you've copied to and erased out of your demanding stress. If the actual region on the demanding stress the position a deleted record's contents is living has been written over via a extra moderen record, then you quite probably can not recuperate it.

Once Recuva finds the file, if you click on it, it should offer to recover it, does it not do this?

If you haven't got Recuva, download it from here
