it truly is misguided about one hundred% validation that the mail cant be lower back on your inbox because of delivery approaches. Mail queues can play a huge roll in if and at the same time as your message grow to be actually gained by using the recipient you emailed. If an merchandise shows up on your despatched Folder, it really is broadly speaking used to validate you in truth despatched a message. the position it truly is justified in being one hundred% is you've been effectual in a message leaving your client and talking with the web in a unmarried way structure or kind. this does not assure delivery lower than any condition. it really is extra used with the purpose to cover your self if time delicate products or deliverables favor to be despatched to the end person. If there are problems with a consumers e-mail client, you may want to get a failed delivery message days later in some situations. even even though it isn't difficulty-loose, i'm in uncomplicated words answering your question truly.

sounds as though the outlook express mail store has become corrupt and its been recreated, you'll probably find that your emails in the inbox were lost too, but your email server still had them stored so it's repopulated the inbox, search your hard drive to see if you have any other *.dbx files and copy these to replace the ones that have now been created.

You must have it set for deleting sent items when Outlook closes. so when you rebooted the PC Outlook automatically closed and delete the emails. there may be an option to retrieve them from the Exchange Server
