Both compters are operating on Windows Vista and it is the new outlook (2007) package.

Thanks in advance

Not from using Outlook as this is a program installed on each computer, but if you use the actual webbased provider, i.e. Yahoo, BT then you can log into your email from anywhere in the world and any computer and of course you're not taking up physical storage space on your own computer.

If your work POP3 server is world-available (has an external IP address), just set that in Outlook (or any other email client) at home. (You might want to also put in the SMTP address, so you can send emails from the same address.) If it's not (it has an internal IP address) it depends:

If you can get to your office computer, via VNC or VPN, you can use that, from home, to access your email.

If the server has a webmail interface that's accessible from outside you can use your web browser to access your email.

Talk to your network people at work to find out what you have to do. (If they have nothing set up at all, perhaps it's time they joined the 21st century.)

Yes, in fact you can. All you need to do to be able to do this is find out your work (I am guessing) email address and then use outlook express or whatever is installed on your computer. You will also need to know your email client server and that is pretty easy to figure out what service you have. (i use yahoo).

After that, just give me an email or something so I can help you configure the rest.

Yes, if Outlook web access is enabled.

Or, you can go to http://www.mail2web.com/

Not necessarily - your employer might be operating on an internal intranet which is not accessible from outside.
