How to access wow private server?

Question

Hi, i need a good guide(not a video) on how to get access to a private server. Please do not tell me "Its illegal!" and all that cr*p as i don't care anymore i heard too much rubbish with no straight answer. So if i could kindly have a nice person not lecture me on the bad things and just plainly tell me how i turn my wow into a private wow, all i know is reinstall it and get certain patch but would like the rest please :)

Also please only post here good links to good guide and rubbish "Open wow change realmlist open patch go website log in" as it is not much help for me and i searched high and low and found a guide which crashed my pc :(

Ok Well First You need to Know which Server your going to be going on First, Like WOWscape or VCnelite(my favorite so far) or any other kinds..Heres a website of the Kinds of servers(http://www.xtremetop100.com/world-of-warcraft)...Ok Once you find the one you like Register an Account..Then Find on that site the Realmlist for theirs....Then go to "My computer" then to Local Disk (c). Then click Program Files, then click World of Warcraft File..Then you should See Realmlist...Right click it and Go to Properties. Then go to the Security tab and then Click Edit adn then click Users(USER-PC\Users) Then at the Bottom you will see Boxes under allow adn Deny....Make sure all the Boxes under ALLOW are CHECKED!!! all except Special permissions(u cnt check that one)..Then Click OK adn then Click OK again.( All of the Above is just to allow u to Put the Realmlist in, Once you've done it once, u won't have to do it again!)





Ok now Find Realmlist and open it With NOTEPAD! Once it has been opened with NOTEPAD you will see set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

ERASE IT ALL!!! ok then once you have found the private Servers Realmlist of their Website you Copy it into here!!! (for Example set realmlist vcn.servegame.org that is one) Ok once the Realmlist is in got the X button like ur closing the screena and Then it shld say Save or Don't Save..Click Save and then the screen shld be gone...Then Clikc on WOW and type your info in form the private Servers Site ( ur Username adn password from the site)..Ok then Click login adn HAve fun!!!!!







Ok if want to change your server all you need to do is Go to Realmlist in your WOW Folder and Change the Realmlist in there and SAve it...The Type your Username adn Password form the Site in the WOW login screen and then ur in a new Private Server!!
