With Opera, I can view source, change any of the HTML, and then apply changes. Extremely useful for debug HTML and hacker-proofing sites. I've tried the Firebug add-on but I couldn't figure out how to change the HTML and apply changes. Am I doing something wrong or am I using the wrong plugin or is it just not do-able with Firefox??

You can change the HTML Firefox renders, you can't change the HTML on the site with a browser (browsers don't have ANY access to the computer's file system - that's a given).

hi Mark once you check out the internet site from view source, that's in study basically mode. so which you won't be able to edit it there. purely make the ameliorations on your HTML record and save it. Refresh the browser window and you will desire to confirm the ameliorations now. wish that solves it.

I am not aware of a FireFox add-on that can do that. But you can use the scrapbook addon to page save it, then copy and save the text as html.
