hi greecz, this one is easy to fix hit start>settings>control panel if you have windows xp then hit the add/remove icon but if you have vista or windows 7 beta then hit programs&features and uninstall your soundblaster and uninstall it then reboot. now when you are back to your computer then install the soundblaster in your dvd burner and reinstall and then try the sound if it works great but say it still isn't working now it is time to upgrade your sound i highly recommend that if you do not have surround sound then i highly recommend that you get you a suround sound system and make sure that you set your speakers that is the same level around you and buy a sounblaster wifi extreme sound or a soundblaster titaimnium you will dig it. when you listen to your music or play a game it will sound like the artist is right in the room where you are at. but it will probably work after you reinstall it but remember what i said about an upgrade so keep that in mind. good luck hope i was helpful to you
