Ok. I was on AIM, and I recieved a virus from an IM that I got from someone. I clicked on the link, and I got this virus. It WILL NOT go away. I have several "anti-virus" things on my computer, and Ive also run quite a few scans and tests searching my computer. Ive deleted EACH and EVERY one of the bugs the scans have found, and It still wont go away. Heres the problem--Every time the internet is connected, my email scanner box pops up in the corner of the screen (AVG). It says that its sending mail to all of these different IP and Email addresses, and doesnt stop. Ive searched, and searched, & I cant seem to find what email program its connected to, or sending from. All of the tests show my computer is virus-free, and yet I still turn on my internet, and the box in the corner pops up, telling me its sending to these strange email/IP addresses. ...can anyone PLEASE, PLEASE help me?!?! Ive tried so so SO hard to fix this, and NOTHING is working. ):
any help is appreciated!!!

it would definitly help to know what program it is...

but, when you run the scan, if it shows up write down the location of it. If you can find its .dll file on your computer you can restart in "safe mode" and manually delete it. then restart normally and it should be all clear.

Is sounds like hijacking software though. You could try Hijack this! I think it is free.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html

The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

ok are you saying norton isn't taking away it because it says its a 'down-loader' if so what makes you imagine it really is a pandemic are you able to in consumer-friendly words 'delete' it for a deep experiment with a pandemic checker (if the virus is preventing your virus checker operating) it really is sweet to run it in 'chance-free mode' you would possibly want to continuously try 'Malwarebytes' you should use it to experiment your computer and it has a device referred to as 'report assassin' which will rigidity delete any locked information yet i nonetheless am questioning why you suspect its a pandemic

Try using UBCD at http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/, but make sure that you update the virus definitions before you burn the CD, and boot and scan it.
