Try downloading DVD Shrink, just search for it in Google the latest one i believe has a built in burning software as well so as soon as it finishes copying the DVD (cartoon) to your hard drive it will burn the DVD straight away with no problems. Ive been using this program for a while and haven't had any problems with backing up my DVD collection yet. This software is also free so, dont buy it of anyone trying to sell it.

Hope this helps

First: Copying copyrighted data for personal use isn't illegal anywhere Second: DMCA only applies to the US, and only to DRM DvDs (Non encrypted discs are free to copy) Third: You could always just download it directly from a streaming site, that way you avoid both problems...

Ok, first of all what you are doing might or might not be illegal. The following information is for educational purposes only:

You'll need to convert the file to a single file. I recommend Handbrake. You will then need to burn this file to a DVD. You can use Windows Media Player or QuickTime Pro to accomplish this step.

of course this is illegal to burn a copyright dvd, but it can be done. dvd shrink is not a bad program for burning dvd's, easy to use, takes about 26 minutes all up to burn a full length movie, pending on burn speed. but check you local copyright laws befor you proceed.

Sometimes DVD players wont read burnt DVD's. Maybe try a different DVD format. There are DVD+RW and DVD-RW

I use - for backing my DVDs up, and dont have a problem. Try it in a friends DVD player.

You can't burn a copyrighted DVD, there is a code on the original that won't let you. You can only downloaded on your computer.

Try ripping again with AnyDVD, and then convert with DVDShrink. Should be no problem.
