Hi everyone, I am doing a research for Middlesex University on online shopping experience. I want to find out about users who went into the E-commerce sites and did not complete the process for usability problems or any other dissatisfaction. Can Anybody help me giving any idea how I can gather my initial data about horrible online shopping experience and abandonment of shopping carts?

You might try comsumersonline.gov or consumerunion.org

I'd suggest you approach the online shopping sites themselves and ask them exactly that question. They will have stats for this sort of thing. They won't want to share these unless there is something in it for them, and your research sounds like something that would add value to the ones who are experiencing difficulties. So you'll need to establish trust and sell them the advantages of disclosing. You may need to agree to referring to them as company X or company Y in any papers (but have links back so you can prove you aren't making it all up!)

Hope this helps
