Question:
Internet having connection problems?
2011-07-07 22:57:20 UTC
I tried going on the internet on my laptop on Firefox and Internet Explorer. On Firefox it only shows blank page and saying new tab. I tried going on google, but the page stays blank. On the internet explore it says cannot display page. I tried to diagnose it but a message says, "Remote device or resource won't accept any connections"...something like that. The internet router, signal, and connection are fine, but I can't go on any web pages like google. Then I created another user account as administrator and I'm able to go on the internet on that account. Is there any I can do? Either remove (not able to remove on control panel my first account or fix the internet.

Ive had a similar problem. Turns out i accidentally created two home networks and whenever i reboot my computer, they both activate and fight with each other, i technically have internet but can not use it.perhaps this is your problem as well, your computer is connected to two networks(which are actually the same)

To resolve it:

I open the network/sharing center .

disable one or the other(both should close).

click the resolution button(i have win7 and its the red X between comp and network).

itll start to fix itself, and when prompted click either "skip this step" or "run as administrator" when available.

this will reconnect you to the internet using only 1 network. you may have to do this everytime you restart, I do...

I hope this helps you. good luck

There has to be an administrator account other than the one you already made... it sounds like you know what to do though but just in case go to control panel>accounts and something like options and you're able to change what other accounts can or cannot access.

"I actual have unfastened utilization account on morning 2am to 8am..." that there is in all possibility your complication- each 'guy and his dogs' is in all possibility on line to exploit this 'unfastened' time and are consequently swamping your ISP's servers.
