My computer is critcally low on space how can I free some up?

I've already tried de-fragging, and doing the autocleaner. But my computer is still critically low on disk space, I don't have money for an external hard drive right now, so I have no idea what programs I could delete without anything happening to my computer. There are several programs that are taking up a lot of space but I have no idea which I could delete. If anyone can help me in free up disk space I would greatly appreciate it?

List a few programs you are unsure about and I can tell you which to delete. Go through your documents and delete what you don't need. Download a program called cCleaner and run the cleaner and registry options. cCleaner will delete temp files and the likes, but will also clear passwords you have saved if you do not uncheck the option. And on the registry part, you want to save a backup (it will ask you to.)



Media Content is clipart, etc. If you don't use publisher, take it off. Nero is your burning software.

Download CCleaner and free space by deleting Temp and Internet History files. Do it regularly.

You can go a little further by searching for *.tmp files on your drive (a few that are in use won't be able to be deleted). And you can go 1 step further by deleting *.log files, which usually aren't needed and are in fact deleted by some commercial drive-cleaning software.

i use CCleaner and a delete like 3.5 GB of files, all junk files.
