How to unlock my computer xp?

Question

My computer is xp and when i start the computer it dont say the list of users you have to write your user down and it says the adminstritor has to unlock it and i am it but i just dont know how to unlock it please Help

It sounds like Windows has been set to be a part of a domain (i.e. a business network) and it is prompting for a network login.



If you have local administrator rights, use those for your login and then go to the network settings and change the computer so that it is not in a domain. You'll need to restart to affect the change.



Microsoft's TechNet site has the information on joining a domain, just do the reverse and set the computer to a work group not a domain.

have you tried the old Administrator Administrator trick. If not then type the username as Administrator and the password as administrator if that doesn't work do the same thing but type the password as password. If that all fails there is not much you can do apart from reinstall XP.

go into safe mode by tapping f8 after the the boot screen



it should open the default admin account.



when you are in, then make sure you have got an account in your name in the user accounts you will find this in the control panel.



then you will need to change the way users log on or off.



restart the computer and all should be well.

I think a programmer can fix that by accessing you MS DOS. They do some sorts of coding. I had the same problem before and my programmer fixed it.

ur no longer sparkling on ur words..u propose the computing gadget password to log in or what? attempt to open up the battery interior the motherboard to reset the password..pass away it for jiffy then placed it returned..possibly it would help..
