Dell users???? i seemed to have forgotten?

Question

Okay dell users out there! rite now i am logged on to a different account because i forgot my accounts password... stu pid me forgor to put a password hint there to help me... now how can i find my password?! please help... my entire life is on that account... pictures... essays ... everything!

If you have no hope left you can log in as default Administrator and blank password to log in then you can go to Users and try to change the password over and over or you can take ownership of the files on the other account. There is also free software to recover and reset account passwords with a cd before booting into the OS

Okay this happend to me, What account did you log into, the administrator, if you didnt when windows loads up and you are at the login screen press cntrol+alt+delete twice very quickly and it will take you to a seperate window, in the user name part type in Administrator. and it will log you in. then go to control panel and the user accounts and click on your account and then click on remove password. (the administrator account will remove the password without aking for it). if that doesnt work sorry and the best of luck to you.

i think you can erase the cmos profile and add a new password, might want to research that how to do it

it usually involves opening up the computer, and placing a jumper on different pins, sounds complicated but if you get some pictures it's pretty easy to figure out.

i'm not sure what passwords you mean. if you have a password it's something you created and no one can help u with that. i sincerely hope you don't have to call customer service. the call goes straight to India, and u have to talk to a non-speaking english indian who tries to assist you. it's pathetic. i will NEVER purchase another dell. GO APPLE!!!

if you forgot computer setup password

make a short circuit inside the box for battery



if you forgot a password for a file send it to me to tell you your password.



if you forgot password to open a directory use a software to recover it.



if you forgot emai password, get help from its firm

Call Dell support on the Phone and explain the problem, they can confirm your account by asking personal information......Nuf Said

wait a little and you should have your password ps if use use the password with the utube video u wont have your encripted files

well check your emails on another account or anything else you could have reminded yourself with! (i have one to and my password hint is ttly different from the password to throw off the intruders....i hope i dont 4get!)
