Local Area Connection 5?

I don't think I ever had this, but I think it appeared when I launched a maplestory private server and I deleted the game and cilent for the server, but its still there. How do I get rid of it? It says its a Microsoft Loopback Adapter, but I don't really know what it does so does anyone know how to get rid of it without anything risky happening to my PC?

First you need logon to your PC as an administrator. Then you need to make sure the active network connection your using is different from Local Area Connection 5. Then you should be able to delete it. See what options are available when your right-click the connection.
