Where can I find a listing of keyboard shortcuts, or does it depend on your computer brand and model?

Try the "Backspace" key.

For a list of "Keyboard Shortcuts", look in Help (or press F1)

I'm not sure where you can find a list of shortcuts - try google or yahoo under "keyboard shortcuts" or something.

As for the "back" button, generally when your cursor is not in a type field (so there is no blinking typing sort of cursor) you can hit the "Backspace" button which will be the same as hitting "back". If you are in a type field, click somewhere else so you are no longer in a type field and try again.
