also a spyware program somehow ended up on my computer too...Everytime I restart or just start my computer up...i get a grey box with a red X on the left hand side and the top of the box says "SmartBridge Alert: MovtiveSBiexe.Entry Point not found...then inside the box it says..."The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL. This has been happening for about 4 days now...and my McAfee says it cannot find it's location...what has happened and how do I fix it..Obviously I can still access the internet, but I cannot log onto my school..I'm not sure if this is part of my computer issue or just a server issue with the school...like an update or something...i am no computer expert, but i am not stupid either...i have tried different things and nothing is working...i need help...i don't want my computer to crash....serious answers only please and if you do answer, please be specific in what i need to do..

Use these 2 scans to remove it,both free.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

Motive Smartbridge isn't actually spyware, it's some 'helper' process installed along with the software from some ISP's. There's more information here, along with instructions on stopping it running at start up (in the second 'comment' under the main article):

try to use kaspersky anti-virus 6.0

its much better then McAfee. I used to buy McAfee and when I download kaspersky I found 150 viruses in my computer.
