I got a clip art frame from the choices in Word, but how do I insert text. I always get a new text box when I choose insert text.

right click on the image... and then layer it so that it goes under the text... or what (im not sure if this is right) but when u select an image at the top on the tool bar u can see a picture of a dog and some lines.. click on the one w/ the dog behind the lines.

If i understand your question right: I would edit the picture in "paint" and then place it back in MS Word.

attempt a textual content field. you may positioned it over it and use the options to make positive that is over the photo. Insert your clip paintings Insert textual content field. precise click on the textual content field (precise on the fringe of it) and bypass all the way down to 'order' and choose 'deliver ahead' it truly is the way it fairly works for me.
