It is a zipped file on my desktop. When I open it, there is a file inside called janeausten.ttf. Jane Austen is the font. There is also a Notepad file about the font and its creator. How cna I move this font so that it can be used for Microssoft Office word?

Find the font (.ttf or .otf or .ttc *or any other type)

And paste them in the

"C:\Windows\Fonts" folder.

Information:

ttf = true type font

ttc = true type collection

otf = open type font

You have to put the TTF file in your system fonts folder.

Open up the 'Control Panel' from your start menu.

In there, find the "Fonts" item and open it.

Now drag the TTF file into the Fonts folder, and restart Word.

Tada!
