I tried booting my computer multiple times in all of the different ways (last known working condition, safe mode, safe mode w networking, and normally) and it gives me the page where it loads windows, then it flashes the blue screen of death VERY quickly before restarting. I had to use a camera to take a picture of what it says because it was too fast for my eyes. It says

"If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, then restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Blah blah blah about newly installed hard ware or software ( but i didn't install anything new)

If problems continue, disable or remove newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components. restart your computer. press f8 to select advanced startup options, and then start safe mode.

Technical Information:
Stop 0.00000 "
... and thats it.

I haven't saved anything, so i don't care about fixing it ( i just want to reformat it) but first i need to save some files.

Just as its name suggest, BSOD (blue screen of death) is one of the most general windows errors that every users will encounter everyday. When the blue screen happen, it means that something severe is going bad with your computer, specifically, your windows registry. The Windows registry refer to the data of the components such as hardware and software which are set up on the computer. Windows are guided by the registry on what to do and how to access the different software programs, files or processes. However, as time goes by, the registry may got corrupt and even harmful data, and Windows then have to carry ineffectual tasks and needless functions. The main objective of a registry cleaner is to eliminate the unneeded items from the windows registry to ensure your computer will keep running quicker and with fewer errors.I should like to commend Registry Easy http://perfect-your-computer.com to you ! You can scan your pc for free! Good luck!

Well, if you didn't install hardware or software incorrectly, it could be a memory failure or in the CPU.

A:Check the specifications about your PC and if you have consumed your RAM memory, it could be failure to the system

B:Have you notice something saying about your PC? like (Your PC is low on virtual memory)

---Solutions---

A:Go to Safe Mode and open System Restore

Instructions: Restart your PC (if it is on) or boot your PC (if it is off) then press F8 till you are in to the advanced startup options.Highlight Safe Mode and press Enter.

If your successful, click Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Click next and click on a bold date (any date before the system got error) click next and next until process is finished

If still unsuccessful, only reformat is the solution.

if you can't still log on to Windows, you can't recover your files. You need to start over.

blue screen error comes due to windows rigistry errors. you just trying to reinstall the window if the files which you want to save are not located in C/window drive than no need for partition. files will remain saved.

After install the window i would like to suggest you to buy a good registry cleaner and PC optimizer from Intel Software Directory http://ibx.intel.com/directory/Default.aspx

if you did not install anything... the bsod means one thing....... hardware failure.... something in your computer has physically broken..... so gl (remember any new hardware, violent shaking, or software if not properlly installed can cause this)
