Reason i ask: Ive had IE problems so i had to reconfigure my WHOLE computer
IE made it blink off in the middle of program. After i reinstalled to my original, that program was old, so i had to reinstall the new IE.. when i did, same thing,,,computer goes blank and i have to move my mouse to get the screen back up. When i use Firefox it dont do this! whats causing this????

No because its your computers default web browser u can also upgrade 2 ie7 and it won't wreck ur computer :)

Don't use IE. You can get a plug-in for Firefox which will open sites in an IE tab but generally it's bad news.

Speaking for myself , I needed to Download IE7 once to make something I was doing work. Once I downloaded it, the security Firewalls and stuff shut down. And IE7 didn't even wanna work right. Come to find out IE7 wasn't meant to be used with my kinda FireWall. SO the wrong Web Browser could screw things up. You have to know your programs. And what can work with them and can't

IE is unstable, unsecure and not recommended to use. Stick to firefox. You may also have spyware or a virus that has infected your IE. Check this site for info, http://delete-virus.com

Safari has the best overall functionality
