Okay so i was going through some computer programs and like uninstalled a bunch of them because i thought they were useless. Anyway the next morning i turn my computer on and its gone all weird. Like my web pages and desktop are like super zoomed in and like my screens are a bit blurry, like not very clear. Also my stand by button have all disappeared. Can someone please tell me what i did and like what i need to install again to get my computer back to normal.

Thanks in advance

You have most likely uninstalled your graphics driver... and maybe others.

Tell us the computer model/specs and I can tell you how to fix it.

If you uninstalled anything ATI or nVidia then that was a mistake...

You do not need to reinstall windows as was suggested below, that would be 1000x overkill.

Changing the screen resolution will also not help at all.

Doing a system restore should fix it aswell but simply downloading the graphics driver and installing it will work and you wont have to go about uninstalling everything again

Ya the best thing to do would be a system restore. This will undo any changes you have made to your system when you were uninstalling things... which was probably a graphics driver (as already mentioned). You can do this by going into your backup and restore option in your control panel. Just pick a date that was before the date you uninstalled everything and it should work. If not, find out what graphics card you have and go to their website and install the latest graphics card driver.

Control Panel --> System --> Device Manager

Look in the hardware list for anything with a problem. It sounds like you uninstalled some device drivers, so Windows has gone back to its generic drivers. Go to the manufacturer's site and get the video driver, anything that handles special key assignments on the keyboard, or whatever else got messed up on Device Manager list.

(a) Find and Remove Spyware and Malware using Microsoft Security Essentials:

1. Go to Microsoft.com and download Microsoft Security Essentials:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security_…

2. Run to clean computer and protect it. (This may require disabling or removing other protection programs.)

(b) Clean the Registry :

1. Go to PCTools.com by clicking the link and running 'try a free scan":

http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic…

2. This will download Registry Mechanic and repair some of your registry, but not all.

This program is extremely good and worth having to make sure the registry is clean.

There are other registry cleaners out there too if you prefer, but this is a start.

(c) Defragment your Hard Disk:

1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter.

2. Select the drives that you wish to defragment.

3. Click “Defragment Disks” button to proceed.

This is Recommended, but make sure that you do not have anything in the trash can that you want to save !!

(d) Deleting Temporary Files:

1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk CleanUp.

2. Select a drive and click OK.

(e) Reboot and Rerun all progams (a,b,c,d) again until they complete error free or have reached optimized levels.

Well to me it sounds like you uninstalled you graphics drivers or some other system software. Its hard to know for sure without knowing what you uninstalled. Go with what the first answer said. You will not have to restore windows or the re install the OS.

You have uninstalled your motherboard or Graphics Driver. Get driver cd, provided to you with your system and install all drivers one by one. If it is already installed, select Repair in setup app. After that restart the system, and increase your system's resolution to maximum. This would help.

Assuming you have a PC with windows, try and do a system restore back to a time when it was working normally (probably to a time when you had all of those programs you uninstalled). If that doesn't work, the next easiest solution would be to back up your files and to reinstall your OS.

i have no idea what you deleted but i think the easiest way to get your computer back to normal would be by doing a system restore,

If you do choose to do this just make sure to save everything off of your hard drive that you don't want deleted on to a flash drive or an external hard drive.

Sounds like your display setting has changed. Close all windows, right click in the middle of the desktop and click on properties. Then "settings," then you will see "Screen Resolution." Try changing it to the "More" setting, the highest and hopefully you will see everything.

Hope this helps. Have a good one.

Perform a simple System Restore to the restore point immediately before you un-installed all that "useless" stuff.

in line with what you say. it quite is not elementary to verify what the subject is. you probably did not say whether you're utilising intense velocity or dial or prompt. in case you're utilising a prompt internet, it ought to be sign barrier situation. in case you're utilising intense velocity, it ought to be secret agent ware situation, if dial up, ought to be bandwidth situation. in case you have been utilising you workstation ok till now. i don't think of it quite is workstation situation. Modem ability surge situation is likewise accessible.
